Daniel joined RHA in 2024 as the WMA 8 AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. He graduated from Drew University with a double major B.S. degree in Biology and Environmental Science and completed his thesis on Avian migration and species richness. In addition, he designed a research project that pertained to Plethodon Salamander monitoring and was part of two aquatic macroinvertebrates sampling projects in relation to aquatic fungal pathogens (Bd).
Daniel is a local from Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and grew up fishing and exploring the South Branch of the Raritan River and the surrounding watershed. In his free time, he enjoys wildlife photography, fishing, and fencing.
