Do you have a few packets of seeds that just didn’t make it into the garden this season?  Are you always excited to get seedlings started in the spring, but just don’t have the patience and space for seedling trays?  Then you may be interested in Winter Sowing. Winter Sowing is an easy propagation method where the seeds are placed in vented containers and left outside all winter in the elements until they naturally sprout in the spring!  This workshop will consist of a short lecture and then a hands on vented container making session. You will take home the planted container to leave out in the elements to sprout!

This event is part of our River-Friendly Resident Workshop Series.
