Climate Station Training – May 6th
Location: climate station RHA03 (South Branch Preserve )
Time- 10:00am – 12:00pm
Participate in our climate station monitoring program by attending our training to learn more about the impacts of climate change within our watershed. Volunteer to become a climate station monitor by helping RHA maintain our EnviroDIY Mayfly stations that collect data (water depth, conductivity, and water temperature) every 15 minutes. At the training, you’ll learn how the stations work, sign up for maintaining a station, meet your team members, and pick up a climate station kit. Learn more here.
Be prepared, what gear should I bring to the training? hat, sunglasses, sunblock, bug spray, comfortable boots/ shoes to hike in, snacks/ bottle of water, waders if you have them (we will also bring some for you to borrow).
