A rain barrel is attached to your home’s gutter and collects rainwater that can be used for watering plants.  This is a great way to prevent runoff that may collect pollution, and also to prevent erosion.

Join Raritan Headwaters to make a rain barrel to bring home or join us to learn more! In addition to constructing our barrels, we will review the basics of rain barrels and rain gardening, discuss how this feature might be used in your landscape, and learn about the importance of saving rain water.

This workshop takes place at the Ann Reno Barn off Rt 22 (near Van Horne Road) in Readington Township.

Cost: $60 per rain barrel, free to attend lecture
