The 50th Anniversary of Earth Day
Wednesday, April 22nd

While our 2020 Annual Stream Cleanup can not take place due to social distancing requirements, YOU can still take individual action to make an impact. Every piece of trash picked up is prevented from entering our streams and rivers.

This Earth Day let’s celebrate our community and do our part to make a difference!

Here's How You Can Help

CLEANUP YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Before you leave for your walk, grab a bag and gloves and pick up litter along the way. Complete this survey with your mobile device while out, or online when you get home. You will be helping RHA understand where and what kind of trash occurs. Share your pictures! We want to see you in action.

IDENTIFY LITTER HOTSPOTS

If you prefer not to pick up litter but still want to help, you can complete our Observation Survey. The information you provide will help us learn where littering is occurring in our watershed. We can target these areas for future cleanups.

**BEFORE YOU ENGAGE IN THIS ACTIVITY, PLEASE REVIEW AND FOLLOW GUIDANCE PROVIDED BY THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION (CDC) AND THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT WHERE YOU LIVE TO ENSURE YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY.

Sharing is Caring

Share our emails, website and social media posts (   ) with your friends, family and coworkers. Let them know about your involvement in protecting the watershed and help us expand our community of conservation-minded citizens.
