Local issues, local solutions: How to address stormwater in your community
Bill Kibler, Director of Policy, Raritan Headwaters
February 24, 2021
Stormwater causes major problems for our local communities. Flooding after rainstorms creates public safety issues and causes extensive property damage. Pollution carried by stormwater threatens drinking water, the local economy, and aquatic life. We will discuss the local impacts of flooding and pollution caused by stormwater in your communities, identify local contributions to these problems, and suggest local solutions to alleviate stormwater impacts.
